JULY 2005

Engineers and Technical Professionals

Hi all!  Well it's July and the market seems to be as sizzling as the temperatures! With oil flirting with $60/bbl and hurricanes threatening Gulf Coast refining capacity, it's no wonder!  This month I was hoping we could exchange some knowledge about industry information sources.  As many of you know (and all of you SHOULD) I try to stay up with publishing my blog on a fairly regular basis, and consequently I'm always out there scouring various sources for industry news and information that I think you will find interesting.  I have a few websites that I have bookmarked to check regularly and others that I glance at only periodically and then of course I might Google some sites to follow up on a "juicy tidbit" from time to time.  However, I'm always interested to know what y'all are reading and watching out there in case there's something I'm missing.

So following is a list of the sites I look at most often.  I'd really love to get your input on what industry news sources you follow regularly as well, so shoot them back to me if you have a minute.  Of course don't hesitate to let me know if anything in the newsletter piques your curiosity!  Referrals are the lifeblood of my business and if there's anyone you think should be getting the newsletter, please don't hesitate to forward it on and "cc" me for future distributions  By the way, one cool tool to use is: www.watchthatpage.com.  Check it out!  Here are some to get you started.
